Family was desperate for support after son’s injury

When Deborah and Michael Behar’s home lives were altered by their son’s challenging behavior, they decided to place him in a residential facility. Their son sustained a serious eye injury at the facility after he continuously hit himself. Autism New Jersey helped find home support for the Behars and helped them devise a treatment plan that would help decrease their son’s aggressiveness. Read their story>>
