If you or a loved one had autism, and there were a magic pill to cure it, would you take it? Your answer might depend on where you fell on the autism spectrum.

In her recently released TEDx Talk, Autism New Jersey Executive Director Dr. Suzanne Buchanan describes the impact of autism, the spectrum of needs, effective treatment, and her vision for the future.

TEDxCarnegieLake 2017 will be held on Saturday, October 28thTEDxCarnegieLake 2017 was held in front of 250+ attendees on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the John Witherspoon Auditorium in Princeton, NJ.

We ask that you share this video and encourage others to join your awareness efforts and gain a greater understanding of autism and the spectrum of individuals it affects.

Through awareness, information sharing, training, public policy initiatives, and a commitment to science-based intervention, Autism New Jersey serves as a collective and influential voice for the community and systematically and compassionately improves the lives of individuals with autism every day.

As one of its four service pillars, awareness is a year-round commitment. We aim to continue to build community acceptance through our successful Autism Ambassador campaign and community outreach. Our Autism Ambassador Program during National Autism Awareness Month provides kits full of ideas, templates, activities, and free supplies. The campaign promotes awareness, sensitivity, and action in local schools and communities, enlisting more than 1,000 ambassadors annually.
