Ambassadors Chose Kindness Throughout National Autism Month and Raise Nearly $150,000.

Nearly 1,000 registered ambassadors and hundreds of school districts across the state encouraged people throughout New Jersey to Choose Kindness in April, National Autism Month. In previous years, we have been extremely impressed by the dedication and energy of our participants, and the 2019 Ambassador Program was no exception.

Thanks to the countless activities that took place in communities in all 21 counties, there is now a stronger understanding and greater acceptance of autism around the state.

Ambassador Fundraisers

With the support of our ambassador fundraisers, combined with our generous sponsors, the 2019 Ambassador Program raised nearly $150,000 to help us sustain the important work we do. Through public policy, credible information and guidance through our 800.4.AUTISM Helpline, Autism New Jersey is able to keep caregivers, professionals, and legislators up to date on the needs of New Jersey’s autism community.
