Milestone Golf Outing Raises more than $215,000 to Support Autism New Jersey

On Tuesday, September 4th, 259 golfers participated in the 20th Anniversary Liberty Mutual Invitational Charity Golf Outing in support of Autism New Jersey and its mission. The sold-out event began with a gourmet barbeque lunch before heading out to the beautiful Fiddler’s Elbow River and Meadow courses. The day was a scorcher, topping 90 degrees, and our golfers were on fire, too! We even had our first Hole-In-One contest winner. Congratulations, Dr. Darren Loew! The day was packed with fun golf contests and reminiscing about the past 20 years. The event capped off with our dinner banquet, an auction filled with one-of-a-kind items, and many fantastic prizes.
This year’s event raised nearly $215,000 to support our Public Policy initiatives, Education & Training, and Information Services. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor: The Michael J. We also would like to recognize our Golf Committee, some of whom were there at the beginning 20 years ago and began this event in honor of their incredible children. Without this dedicated group of people, this event would not be what it is today.
